Summer's Last Hurrah: Linell's September Favorites

Summer's Last Hurrah: Linell's September Favorites

As the days get shorter and the nights get cooler, it's time to bid farewell to summer and welcome the cozy vibes of fall. I actually had my first pumpkin spice latte today and it was good. I am enjoying several things this month. I'm trying to squeeze out the last drops of summer and welcome with open arms the joy of Fall.

1. Weekly Florals For The Win

Who says flowers are just for summer? I am bringing the last few cuts of my summer flowers indoors, while adding fall flowers to the mix. Flowers make me happy. Looks good and smells good.  The perfect combination.

2. Cinnamon Baked French Toast

Seriously, my son has us all hooked on the easiest french toast made with biscuits.  It's delicious, but definitely can't be good for you. It's the perfect way to start the day, just add coffee and I'm in love.

3. Suede

Although I'm still savoring my flowy maxi dresses, even if I have to add a cardigan for the cool evenings we are experiencing here in Maryland; I will always be a fan of suede. Suede bags are a classic in my book. They are perfect in all seasons, but this time of year is when they really shine.

So there you have it, a few of my September favorites for a summer send-off.  Who says you can't hold onto summer just a little bit longer? Summer is my favorite season (Christmas is my favorite holiday), but I'm ready to embrace all that the Fall has in store.
